"Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series" is an official SEGA tournament aimed at expanding the competitive Puyo Puyo population overseas. Players who meet the participation rules and eligibility requirements may participate.

"Global Points" are awarded based on results from the following 3 types of tournaments, competing in a ranking format.

• Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 SEGA Official Tournament（PGRS・ST）
• Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 Ascension Official Tournament（PGRS・AT）
• Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 Community Tournament（PGRS・CT）

Rankings consist of two divisions: Japan Region and Other Region, with top players invited to the SEGA official "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix Final" scheduled for February 2025.

• Japan Region - For players belonging to Japan
  Top 2 ranked players will be invited to the "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix Final".
• Other Region - For players from all regions outside Japan
  Top 2 players from the "Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series Other Region Finals" (featuring the top 12 ranked players) will be invited to the "Puyo Puyo Grand Prix Final".

Additionally, invitations and recommendations to official tournaments and competitive events using the "Puyo Puyo" series may be made based on the results of this tournament.

This tournament is an official SEGA tournament scheduled to be held 4 times.

Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 SEGA Official Tournament 1～3

• Game Title: Steam "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2"
• Eligible Regions: Conducted in two divisions, "Japan Region" and "Other Region". Rankings are determined for each division and "Global Points" are awarded.
• Regulation: Qualifiers - Round-robin / Finals - Single elimination tournament

Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 SEGA Official Tournament 4

• Game Title: Steam "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2"
• Eligible Regions: Open to all regions
• Regulation: Qualifiers - Round-robin / Finals - Single elimination tournament

Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 Ascension Official Tournament（PGRS・AT）

Tournament hosted by Ascension, scheduled to be held 4 times primarily in Other Region.
Details about the "Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series Other Region Finals" featuring the top 12 ranked players from Other Region will be announced once decided.

• Game Title: Steam "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2"
• Eligible Regions: Other Region
• Regulation: Double Elimination Tournament

Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2025 Community Tournament

Tournaments hosted by overseas Puyo Puyo communities, with confirmed tournaments listed in the "Tournament List".
Regulations will be determined at the organizer's discretion in accordance with the guidelines below.

• Game Title: "Puyo Puyo eSports" or "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2"
• Platform: Steam or Nintendo Switch
• Rules: Puyo Puyo Tsu Rules
• Tournament Format: Single Elimination or Double Elimination
  When holding qualifiers, group tournaments such as round-robin or Swiss-system are also permitted
  When separating qualifiers and finals, ensure rankings can be determined up to the point where points are awarded
• Victory Conditions: First to 5 wins or more per match
• Other: Eligible regions will be determined at the discretion of the organizer or SEGA.

"Global Points" are awarded according to the table below.

Main Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 6 years of age or older at the time of the tournament
• Must be able to prepare your own environment for online battles
• Must be able to use the tournament tool "Discord" and tournament tools specified for each event
• Must agree to this series' "Entry Regulations" and each tournament's regulations
